Bread Adventure

 by: Jason Ong

I was searching for a small bakery to try out some breads and to compare the goods that are sold in bakeries from what are done in our class in school. So while I was touring around Makati, I finally found a bakery. It’s located at Mayapis street. It looked like a sari-sari store selling breads and some candies, and other unbaked items.

It was my first time to actually compare prices of baked products because I never really was a fond of them until now that I started to appreciate it. The prices were just around Php2.50 per bread which is cheap since it is also satisfies your hunger and it is very easy to bring wherever you go. They sell Monay, Spanish bread, Star Bread, Pan de Coco, Ensaymada, and cookies and I tasted the ensaymada and the pan de coco. The taste was fair enough that can satisfy people, also you can taste the margarine in each bread.

Overall Henry’s bakery is a decent bakery to grab and go, the only problem is the location because they are sort of hidden in a farther street.
